Kenneth Wayne “Kenny” McNeill, longtime Seminole resident, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at his residence in Seminole at the age of 41. He was born October 8, 1972 in Fort Carson, Colorado to Charles and Maragret (Yancey) McNeill. He attended Pleasant Grove Public Schools. Kenny worked for Coates Roofing for several years and later worked for Blue Wave Boats until his health declined. He loved being a father to his daughter, Breonna and being “Uncle Kenny” to his nephews, Tanner and Mason. Kenny enjoyed fixing up trucks and cars and was always working on a project in his garage. He also enjoyed listening to music. Kenny was a member of Ideal Street Baptist Church in Seminole. He is survived by his companion, Becky Clements of the home; one daughter, Breonna McNeill of the home; his father, Charles McNeill of Washington; his mother, Margaret Yancey of Seminole; one sister, Jennifer McNeill of Seminole; two nephews, Tanner and Mason Tucker; several cousins, aunts, uncles and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Davidson, Ronnie Davidson, Jr., Clayton Stephens, Manny Robledo, Brent Stone and Kyle Moore. Honorary bearers will be Brent Jones, Bill Glenn, Ronnie Davidson, Sr. and Daniel Reyna. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. The family has request those attending the funeral service, to dress casual. They also request any memorial donations be made to help the family with funeral expenses.
