Kenneth Lee

Seminole resident, Kenneth Lee, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the age of 84.

Kenneth, the son of Thomas and Hattie (Maloney) Lee, was born July 1, 1939, in the Sylvian community, between Little and Cromwell, and graduated from Strother High School.  Kenneth proudly served in the US Air Force.  Kenneth was a truck driver.  On February 15, 1974, Kenneth married Hannah Mae Larney, he and Hannah enjoyed 39 years of marriage prior to her passing, June 5, 2013.  Kenneth enjoyed watching western movies, going to rodeos, hunting and fishing, and just simply enjoyed living life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Hannah; a sister, Mattie Lee; and brothers, Arthur Bill Lee, Manuel Edward Lee, Ernest “Short” Lee, and Billy Joe Lee.

Kenneth is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Chebon and Kristen Lee of Newalla; and by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A graveside service will be Friday, August 25, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., at Little Cemetery, with Rick Deer officiating.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
