Kenneth Lloyd Johnson

Seminole resident Kenneth Lloyd Johnson, formerly of Stroud, died Saturday, December 31, 2022, in Oklahoma City.

Kenneth, the son of Louis and Imogene (Hayes) Johnson, was born September 24, 1948, in Oklahoma City.  He graduated with the Stroud High School class of 1966.  Kenneth proudly served in the US Navy, during the Vietnam Conflict.  On August 14, 1971, he married Felipa Teodocio, Subic Philippines.  Kenneth enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching OU football, tinkering with anything to make it run, and teaching others how to weld.  Kenneth was a member of the Stroud Masonic Lodge, he was a shriner in the Akdar Shrine Center in Tulsa and was on the Stroud Board of Education from 1983 until 1990.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Louis D Johnson; his mom, Imogene “Jean” Johnson; and his sister, Linda Jones.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Felipa, of the home; sons and daughter-in-law, David Johnson of Dallas, Texas, and Ben and Debbie Johnson, of Stroud; daughter and son-in-law, Anna and Frank Allen of Corsicana, Texas; grandchildren, Hayden and Ali Johnson, of Stroud, Jordan and Mariah Johnson, of Stroud, Kenzie and Andrew Myers, of Woodward, Skylor and Jaden Johnson of Stroud, Brint Bray of Corsicana, Texas, Devan Bray of Dallas, Texas, and Corben Bray of Corsicana, Texas; great grandchildren, Nyah Johnson, Ledger Johnson, Lincoln Johnson, Ryker Myers, Briggs Johnson, Zovahlee Abbott, Dottie Jo Johnson, and Wrenley Myers; and many other family members and friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. at the CB Wright Auditorium on the campus of Stroud High School.  Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
