Karen Elaine (Bowling) McConnell

Karen Elaine McConnell, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 in Seminole, at the age of 67.  Karen was born on October 15, 1955 in Ohio to Eddie Bowling and Mary Lou (Justice) Bowling.  She graduated from Deer Valley High School.

Karen is survived by her sons, Shannon Lee Rose of Seminole and Donnald Earl Rose of Seminole; two daughters, Kimberly Adley and husband, Kevin of San Diego, CA and Shawna Normali and husband, Freddy Corona of Seminole; two brothers, Eddie Bowling and wife, Vicki and Shane Bowling and wife, Sharla; sister, Paulette Hayden; 16 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lou Bowling; father, Eddie Bowling; brother, Jim Bowling and granddaughter, Lena Karen Corona.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Lee Rose, Desmond Rose, Deven Rose, Jimmy Nava, Justin Williams, Freddy Corona and Robert Ritorto.  Honorary casket bearers will be Eddie Bowling and Shane Bowling.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on  Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
