Seminole resident, Johnathan David Wolf, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 63.

Johnny, the son of Rev Redmond Sr., and Kizzie (Tiger) Wolf, was born November 7, 1961, in Los Angeles, California. Growing up in the Seminole area, he graduated from Pleasant Grove High School with the class of 1981. Johnny was a proud member of the Rhe Seminole Tribe.  After high school, he attended Gordon Cooper Vo Tech, where he received certification in masonry. On February 14, 1998, Johnny married Anita “Nita” Giulietti, in Wewoka. Always a handy person, he was always helping care for his nieces and nephews. Johnny took a job with his sisters Karen and Misselda at Elmwood Manor. This career at a nursing home, ultimately becoming the maintenance supervisor for that facility. The last 13 years Johnny had been Maintenance Supervisor at Avonlea Cottage. A very active guy, Johnny loved playing guitar, he also played bass guitar at his church on the praise and worship team. He has been back up with the bass on some albums with his friends through the years. He has made a cd with his band Brotherhood. He found tremendous joy in his family. watching those serving the Lord with their talents. He believed that God blessed them all with a talent/gift. He was so thankful he was a part of teaching his son, Wade how to play the guitar. He was willing to show anyone a string or two any time. His love for the Lord could be seen as he would sing to the Lord. He loves him some Stevie Ray Vaughan. Johnny was a jokester; he loved razzing and teasing his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball. Watching OU and Thunder games. With his talents, he was always willing and happy to help anyone that he could with projects around their home and church sings and gatherings. He spoke though the years about his travel and experiences to Canada and places he has been with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Redmond and Kizzie Wolf; brothers, Eric Wolf, Roger Wolf, Curtis Wolf, and Redmond Wolf, Jr.; sisters, Marjorie Claudia Wolf Howard, Karen Sue Harrison Wolf, Charlotte Bruder.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Nita, of the home; sons, Wade Wolf, of Seminole, and Derek Wolf, of Seminole; daughters, Heidi Little, of Seminole, Destre Harrison, of Seminole, and Desiree Wolf, of Seminole; one grandchild, Kaylin; a sister, Misselda Pauline Wolf and Jeff Yahola, of Seminole; and many other family members and friends.

A wake service is scheduled for Friday, June 13, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. at New Life Church, in Wewoka.

A graveside services is set for Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 1:00 P.M., at the Wolf Family Cemetery in southwest of Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
