Jacob Isaac Adams

August 28, 1980 — December 28, 2025

Seminole

Jacob Isaac Adams, age 45, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away on December 28, 2025. He was born on August 28, 1980, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Anita Harviston and James Adams.

Jacob loved his children deeply: sons Jaden Adams, David Adams, and Jackson Adams, and daughters Jayla Adams and Candy Adams. He was a proud grandfather to Paisley Pennington, Julius Adams, and Lachian Adams. He is also survived by his siblings—Jamey Adams, Chris Adams, Sodapop Adams, and Angel Adams—whom he was incredibly close to. Their bond was strong, full of loyalty, laughter, and a lifetime of shared memories. Jacob is also survived by several close friends whom he considered family. He was preceded in death by grandparents Bill and Juanita Lively, and his uncle Stan Lively.

Jacob loved his mother with all his heart and often said she was the best mother in the world. His devotion to her was evident in the way he spoke about her, cared for her, and carried her lessons with him throughout his life.

Jacob had a gift for lifting others up. He couldn’t stand to see anyone hurting, and he always found a way—through humor, kindness, or a simple gesture—to make someone smile. Easygoing by nature, he made the best out of every situation, always with a smile on his face. He appreciated life, loved it fully, and embraced every moment he was given. He was fun to be around, always making people laugh and bringing light into any room he walked into.

Everyone loved Jake. He was a good man with strong character, a loyal friend, and someone with a huge heart. His kindness and steady presence made people feel safe, valued, and understood.

One of Jacob’s favorite things to do was cook—especially grilling. He loved preparing food for others just as much as he loved sitting down to enjoy it himself. He had a huge sweet tooth and never turned down a good dessert.

He was also artistic and had a natural talent for drawing. His creativity showed in everything he touched, especially in the do‑it‑yourself projects he was always dreaming up and building.

He enjoyed working with his hands and had a natural talent for fixing and building. He loved tinkering with bikes and four‑wheelers and was always inventing new ideas or tools to make things easier. Jacob worked hard in construction, the oil field, and welding, taking great pride in every job he completed.

He cherished being around his friends and family, and helping others wasn’t just something he did—it was part of who he was. He loved music, enjoyed playing the guitar, and found freedom riding his motorcycle.

Jacob’s kindness, creativity, humor, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family, his friends, and everyone whose life he brightened.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Jason Sodapop Adams, Jamey Adams, Blade Adams, Justin Williams, Jaden Adams, Jeremy Williamson, David Adams and Billy Shaw.
