Oklahoma City resident Izetta Ann (Villines) Knight, 86, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in Oklahoma City.
Izetta was born on June 9, 1939, in Seminole to Newt and Esta Mae (Holderfield) Villines. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School with the Class of 1957. On January 9, 1960, she married C.L. “Monte” Knight, and the couple shared 59 years of marriage before his passing in 2019.
Izetta and Monte made their home in Ada for many years before relocating to Oklahoma City. She was employed by Southwestern Bell, where she dedicated 40 years of service before retiring. Izetta cherished time spent with her family and friends and especially enjoyed trips to the casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Newt and Esta Mae Villines; her husband, Monte Knight; two sisters, Donna Pulliam and Betty Russell; and one brother, Kenneth Villines.
Izetta is survived by her son, Michael Gregory Knight of Oklahoma City, as well as many other cherished family members and friends.
The family would like to offer a special thanks to Sonny and Shirley Johnson for all of their help and friendship to Izetta & Monte through the years.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with Rev. Michael Vallandingham officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
