Seminole, OK resident Harold Michael Knizek passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 in Shawnee at the age of 82. Harold was born on November 23, 1943 in Chehalis, Washington to Joseph Knizek and Mildred Jo (Hall) Marx. He was a 1961 graduate of Bowlegs High School. He also earned his associates degree from Seminole State College. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Harold worked as a driller for Jerry Scott Drilling.
Harold was the most caring person one could meet. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren and would go to their sporting events and activities. Harold was very mechanically inclined and could work on anything with an engine. He could do most anything including electrical and plumbing work. Harold enjoyed bowling, drag racing The Crazy Bee, fishing and hunting.
Harold is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael Colin and Tammy Knizek of Seminole, OK; daughter, Kimberly Lemmings of Seminole, OK; sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Doug Ford, Dina and Barry Smith and Edwana Gayler; three grandchildren, Justin and wife, Shianne Lane, Johnny and wife, Lindsay Lane, Hope Knizek; great grandchildren, Bentley Lane, Bristol Lane, Beckhem Lane, Berkeley Lane, Bodhi Lane, Ronnie Lemmings, Travis Lemmings, Lilly Lemmings, and many other family and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Teddy Knizek; son-in-law, John Lemmings; sister and brother-in-law, Leslie and Roy Griffin.
Those serving as casket bearers will be Johnny Lane, Justin Lane, Bentley Lane, Andy Robinson, Anthony Johsnon and Travis Griffin.
Honorary casket bearer will be Michael Knizek.
Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Swearingen Fuenral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery.
