Harold Edgell

Harold Charles Edgell, 80, former Seminole resident, died Monday August 4, 2014 in Clarksville, Arkansas. Harold was born November 8, 1933 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Clara Jane (McKinster) and Marcus Marion Edgell. Harold grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools and graduated from Seminole High School. He was a member of the Nazarene Church and was the Custodial Supervisor for the Page Unified School System, he retired in 1995. Harold is survived by two sons James Cates of Page, Arizona and Charles Edgell of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two daughters Joanna Ryder of Craig, Colorado and Mary Ellen Maestas of Clarksville, Arkansas three sisters, De-Wanda Edgell of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Marketta Barnum of Arizona and Carolyn Hopper of St. George, Utah, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Elva Mae Edgell, and his son Stacy Edgell, six sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., Friday, August 8, 2014 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be Keith Maestas, Clinton Holland, Carlos Edgell, Charles Edgell and Charo Edgell. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
