Gloria Kay Jones

Seminole resident, Gloria Kay Jones, 64, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, in Oklahoma City, surrounded by her loving family, singing native hymns as she journeyed on to be with our loving Father for eternity. Gloria’s family asks that you join them in celebrating her sweet life.

Gloria, the daughter of Harry Jones Jr., and Elizabeth (Brown) Jones, was born February 11, 1961, in Seminole. She graduated from Bowlegs High School with the class of 1979, and later from the College of Western Idaho. Gloria was a member of the Achena Presbyterian Church and loved singing hymns in the St. Paul Church Praise Choir. She was known for cooking delicious foods, and she loved spending time with her family, praising God, BBQ’ing, sewing, and living life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry, and Liz; a brother, Rodney; a grandson, Joshua Jr.; and a granddaughter, Joshlynn.

Gloria is survived by her sons, Jason Jones, of Middleton, ID., Joshua Jones, of Pawnee, OK., and Ian Jones, of Boise, ID.; a daughter, Choleigh Jones, of Boise, ID.; five grandchildren, Jayci, Hayden, Deacon, Teleigh, and Rhiann; one brother and sister-in-law, Hayden and Connie Jones, of Stillwater, OK.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma and Anthony Thomas, of NV., Lillian and the late Charles Robedeaux, of Stillwater, OK., Joyce and John Mike Renz, of Boise, ID., and Johanna Jones, of ID; along with a host of many nieces and nephews.

Casket bearers will be Kyle Robedeaux, Alde Robedeaux, Micah Robedeaux, Landon Campbell, Jason Jones, and Jalen Jones. Honorary casket bearers are Josh Jones, Ian Jones, Corey Renz, John Renz, Hayden E Jones, Deacon F Jones, Jayci Jones, Joey Thomas, Dwight Thomas, and Donnie Thomas.

A wake is scheduled for Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Services will be Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Achena Presbyterian Church in Maud, with Farrell Smith and Scott Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Achena Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
