Gabriel "Gabe" J. Wallace Sears

Gabriel “Gabe” J. Wallace Sears, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 in Cromwell at the age of 24. Gabe was born on December 18, 2000 in Santa Maria, CA to Donald H. Sears Jr. and Crystal Marie Palmer-Perea. In 2014 he moved to Oklahoma where he was raised by his mom and his step-father Lupe “Auggi” Perea.

At a very young age Gabe developed his grandfather, Wallace “Charles” Palmer Jr.’s passion for firearms. This led to him helping teach gun and hunter safety to younger kids. Gabe was a firearms expert before he could drive. Auggi introduced Gabe to his first job at Wewoka Animal Hospital and Seminole Vet. Later, he became the animal control officer for Holdenville Police Department. Gabe then moved on to become a detention officer where he met his fiancé, Chelsea Dentler, before he returned to Holdenville PD as the ACO. He enjoyed his work as a machine operator for Expanded Solutions.

Gabe is survived by his mother and step-father, Crystal Marie Palmer-Perea and Auggi Perea; father, Donald H. Sears Jr.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Reva and Rick Juarez of Shawnee, OK, Dannicca Redding and Roberto Rodriguez of Shandon, CA, BreAnn Sears of Weleetka, OK, Jai’Lin Sears and Chance Walker of Shawnee, OK, Natalie Sears-Garcia of Taft, CA and Natasha Sears-Garcia of Taft, CA; fiancé, Chelsea Dentler; daughter, Adalynn Sears and many other family and friends.

Gabe was preceded in death by his grandmother, Charlotte Palmer and sister, Brista Sears.

A celebration of Gabe ’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
