Franklin Anthony Hammack

December 6, 1968 — November 26, 2021

Maud

Franklin Anthony Hammack of Maud, Oklahoma, passed away, November 26, 2021, at the age of 52. He was born December 6, 1968, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Willie David Hammack and Joyce Evelyn (Meeks) Hammack. He spent most of his life in Tennessee, Arkansas and Seminole, Oklahoma. He married Rebecca Lynn Kelough on July 1, 2002 in Seminole.

Anthony worked as a heavy haul truck driver in the oilfield. He enjoyed deer and coon hunting and dog trading. He was a member of Seminole Coon Hunters Club. He was a very loving and supportive husband, father and papa. He always put his family first and made sure they were cared for. He loved taking his boys hunting, listening to his daughter’s stories, having tea parties with his granddaughters or building sandcastles with his grandsons. His laugh was very contagious and you couldn’t be around him without laughing and having a good time. He was madly in love with his wife and would still flirt with her like they were teenagers on their first date. Anthony is going to be missed every day by those who knew and loved him.

Anthony is survived by his wife Rebecca Lynn Hammack, of the home, his mother; Joyce Hammack, his sons; Darrell Hammack and Dillon Kelough Hammack, both of Maud, Oklahoma, his daughter; Dana Hobbs and her husband Steven of Zeigler, Illinois, his brothers; David Hammack and his wife Cindy and Elvis Hammack and his wife Amber, his sisters; Lisa Self, Annette Edgell and her husband Walter and Joy Hammack and grandchildren; Cloey Hobbs, Cayden Hobbs, Hagen Hammack, Liam Hammack, Kinsley Kelough and Hunter Kelough. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Hammack.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Lord’s Community Church, 501 N. 5th Street in Seminole with Nita Moreland officiating.
