Frank Ralph Williams

Frank Ralph Williams, 84, of Seminole, OK, departed this life on May 5, 2025, at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Frank was born to Ralph and Lorene Williams on December 16, 1940, in Seminole, OK. Though he moved around a lot as a child, he considered Seminole home, graduating from Seminole High School in 1960. He then enlisted in the Army and served three years in the Army Security Agency while stationed in South Korea. Upon his return to the US, he lived in California, where he would be baptized into Christ and marry Martha Anne Gordon. Afterward, he moved to Arkansas and used the GI Bill to attend the Northside School of Preaching, attaining a Master of Sacred Literature.

Throughout his life, Frank was known as a gospel preacher, capable teacher, and later an elder in the church. He served as minister for churches in several states, including Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Wyoming. He taught at various schools, including the Northside School of Preaching, the Wetumka School of Biblical Studies, and the Oklahoma City School of Biblical Studies. For the last two decades, he was a member of the Barnes Church of Christ in Oklahoma City, where he served in various capacities until health prevented him from continuing in those roles.

Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Williams, of the home; one brother, Gerald Williams of Claremore; four children, Virginia and husband Paul Moisant of Tulsa, Clint and wife Teresa Williams of Wyandotte, Benjamin and wife Selene Williams of Ada, and John and wife Autumn Williams of Norman; and also four beloved grandchildren, Elias, Lucas, Calvin, and Mazikeen. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Ralph, and his mother, Lorene.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 2 PM at the Church of Christ at Seminole. Interment will take place at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
