Frank Lee Armstrong, age 69 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away February 10, 2026 at his home in Konawa.
A memorial celebration of life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. The family will gather at the home after the service. Zac Christian will officiate, and honorary bearers are Dusty Armstrong, Hobart Armstrong, Chance “Big Head” Stone, Charles Johnson, Maxwell Johnson, Brent Armstrong, and Brandon Farnell.
Frank was born January 27, 1957 in Oklahoma City to Hobart Armstrong and Irene (Coker) Armstrong. He graduated from Asher High School in Asher, Oklahoma and was an oilfield driller for Twister Drilling. He married Sheila Carol Martin November 22, 2013 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He loved grilling out and listening to music with his family and friends. His favorite moments were those spent with his wife and children and all of their beloved pets, especially Katie Dog.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Armstrong of the home; five sons, Hobart Armstrong and wife, Ashley of Arkansas, Dusty Armstrong of Coalgate, Oklahoma, Maxwell Johnson of Ada, Oklahoma, Charles Johnson and wife, Debbie of Ada, Oklahoma, and Brandon Farnell of Wanette, Oklahoma; three daughters, Emily Reid and husband, Brian of Arkansas, Taylor Stone and husband, Chance of Nashville, Arkansas, and Tiffany Farnell of Michigan; two sisters, Katie Breeden and husband, Jerry of Ada, Oklahoma, and Edna O’Dell of Asher, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hobart and Irene Armstrong; three sisters, Nettie Moreland, Mary Elizabeth Wiley, and Bettie Burgess; and three brothers, Robert Earl, Billy Joe, and Danny Armstrong.
