Seminole

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Felicity Lynn Walker on August 15th, 2024. Felicity was born on March 6, 2000 in Oklahoma City to Jessica Atkinson. She was the beloved sister to Daniel Walker of Lincoln County, Faith Mick and Tristan Mick of Bethel Acres, and Jaclyn VanMeter of Patterson, New York. She was the cherished granddaughter of Chris and Carol Meek of Seminole; great-granddaughter of Charles Meek of Sapulpa, and Beverly Rusche of Oklahoma City. She was deeply loved by her uncle, Richard Ross and wife, Stephanie Ross of Henryetta; her aunt, Terra Meek-Tobey and husband, Jerry Tobey of Seminole; uncle, Troy Bates of Tahlequah; uncle, Eric Meek and wife, Jillian Meek of Seminole. Felicity was adored by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly.

Felicity was preceded in death by her father, William Atkinson; her grandmother, Becky Burden; many great-grandparents and great aunts and uncles. Their memories, along with Felicity's will live on in the hearts of those who loved them most.

Affectionately known as "Lisserbug" Felicity earned this nickname as a child for her playful habit of chasing cicadas. Her vibrant personality lit up every room she entered, and she had a remarkable ability to care for and love everyone she came into contact with.

A memorial service to celebrate Felicity's life will be held Saturday, August 24,2024 at The Lords Community Church at 501 N. 5th street in Seminole at 12:00pm with a family lunch at 11:00. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her memory and the joy she brought to all who knew her. Felicity's family and friends will gather to celebrate her life, sharing stories of their times together and the joy she brought to this world. Though words cannot fully express our grief, we find comfort in the love she shared.

Though her time with us was brief, Felicity's impact on the lives of those around her will be felt for a lifetime. Her memory will continue in our hearts, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. Felicity leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will be deeply missed, but forever remain in our hearts. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
