Seminole resident Evelyn Mae Rossman, 76, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 11, 2026.

Evelyn was born on November 2, 1949, in Sacramento, California, to Frank and Helen (Hearn) Sharp. She graduated from Healdsburg High School in Healdsburg, California, with the Class of 1968. Following graduation, she attended Empire College in Santa Rosa, California, where she studied nursing.

Evelyn spent several years living in Sonoma County, California, where she worked in the vineyards for which the region is well known. After relocating to Oklahoma, she began her career with Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy Store in Seminole. Over the course of 20 years, her dedication and hard work led her to become the manager of the grocery store. She took great pride in her work and the friendships she made along the way.

Above all, Evelyn cherished her family. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen Sharp; her brothers, Charlie Sharp, Kenny Sharp, David Sharp, and Frank Sharp; her sister, Georgia Cahill; and her great-grandson, Douglas Allen Miller III.

Evelyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Heather Rossman of Seminole; her daughter, Sharon Gregg of Seminole; her grandchildren, Doug Miller, Alicia Hall, Ashley Rossman, Megan Emmitt, and Scotty Rossman; her great-grandchildren, Ethan Miller, Carson Hall, Jacoby Miller, Bentley Hall, Maddox Miller, Remington Hall, Gracelynn Hall, Peyton Emmitt, Kymber Rossman, Kayla Emmitt, Myers Miller, Elyza Emmitt, Kamden Rossman, and Blakelynn White; her sister, Wilma Davis of Seminole; and many other beloved family members and friends.

Family visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Starting Point Church in Seminole, with Pastor Jeff Nance officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
