Ella Marie Stiffler

With love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we announce the passing of Ella Marie Stiffler, who departed this life on August 17 at the age of 86.

Ella was born at the family residence near Earlsboro, Oklahoma, on January 14, 1939, to Alvin and Ida Maude Hamon. She was raised on the family homestead alongside her seven sisters and one brother. Ella completed her education at Prairie Valley School in Seminole County and, on March 6, 1957, united in marriage with her high school sweetheart, Carl Stiffler. Their marriage was blessed with forty-one years together, until Carl’s passing in 1998. Throughout her lifetime, Ella held various occupations; however, her greatest fulfillment came from working beside her husband in managing their construction company in Seminole. She will be remembered as a devoted mother to her children, a cherished sister, and a treasured grandmother to her grandchildren.

Ella was preceded in death by her husband Carl Stiffler, her daughter Rhonda Stiffler, and her son Kenneth Stiffler.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Slinker of Hurst, Texas, her son Ron Stiffler of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania and her sister Wilberta Wilkerson of Shawnee, Oklahoma. She left a legacy of six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on September 6, at the Faith Community Church of God, Shawnee, OK at 11:00 am.

In lieu of memorials or flowers, Ella’s greatest wish would be for you to take your family to dinner and share a joyful, memorable evening together.

The family of Ella Stiffler extends heartfelt gratitude to the Regency Skilled Nursing Facility and Heartland Hospice for the exceptional kindness and compassion shown to our beloved Ella. She was cared for with love and dignity in her final days, and for this we remain deeply grateful.
