Elizabeth "Janie" Robertson

Elizabeth "Janie" Robertson, 84 years old, of Fort Smith passed away Tuesday, September 1st, 2026. Janie was born in Lamar Missouri on January 23rd, 1942, to Everett Williams and Frances (Washburn Williams) Evans. She was married to JL Robertson June 28th, 1962, in Paris, Arkansas. She lived most of her life in Fort Smith, Arkansas and Oklahoma. She attended Northside Church of Christ in Fort Smith Arkansas and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Janie was a very creative person who loved sewing, painting, woodworking and traveling. She will be remembered for her creativity, her love of family and the many, memories she created with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Williams, William "Chuck" and Frances "Fran" Evans, husband, JL Robertson, her son, Steven W. Robertson, grandson, Travis Jordan Reed, her son-in-law, Ken Watkins and brother-in-law, Richard Bandy.

She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer and husband Steve Gordon, Angela Watkins and husband Tim Tullous. She has two stepdaughters, Phyllis and husband Barry Hill and Janet Queen. Grandchildren are Ashley Goff and husband Corey, Natalie Kohn, Broc Watkins and wife Jolie, Hannah Robertson, Amy Roberts and husband Blake, Jeff Hill and wife Lyndsey. Great grandchildren included Izac, McKenna, Rian, Seven, Presley, Hazely, Alexis and JL. Her sisters Sandra Bandy, Catherine Frusher, Betty Jo Adkins and brother Everett Raymond Williams along with many other family members and friends.

A family memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
