Seminole resident Doris June Reynolds passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, in Prague, Oklahoma.

Doris, the daughter of Will and Myrle (Reed) Shafer, was born on July 26, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Although she spent many of her early years in Guthrie, she later moved with her family to Wichita, Kansas. On January 31, 1951, she married Howard Reynolds in Wichita.

Doris worked for more than 20 years at Little Giant Pump Company, serving many of those years as a supervisor in the shipping division. She was an excellent cook and a talented baker. She also enjoyed gardening, raising both flowers and vegetables. Doris and Howard shared a love of travel, especially adventures in their RVs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Reynolds; her parents, Will and Myrle Shafer; grandsons, Leslie Kyle Reynolds, Leslie Scott Reynolds, and Mark Christopher Reynolds; brothers, Wayne Shafer, Winford Shafer, and Wallace Shafer; and four infant siblings.

Doris is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Kathie Reynolds of McAlester, Oklahoma, and Leslie Howard and Sherrie Reynolds of Indianola, Oklahoma; three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Wayne Foster of Calvin, Oklahoma, Vickie and Glen Canfield of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Sharon and Dennis Beringer of Yukon, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with Daniel Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery in Seminole.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole.
