Donna Kay Hayes

Wewoka resident, Donna Kay Hayes, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025, at her home, at the age of 84.

Donna, the daughter of James Elkins and Martha (Alford) Hayes, was born February 17, 1941, in Concho, Oklahoma. She grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from John Marshall High School with the class of 1959. She later attended Rose State College. On February 26, 1960, she married Floyd James Hayes, in Del City, Oklahoma. Donna enjoyed art, cooking, gardening, and taking care of her family. She also loved her pup, Goldie. She was the most loving and nurturing mom and grandmother in the world. She was always there when they needed her. She loved her family so much and they loved her with all of their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her son, Mark J. Hayes; and by her husband, Floyd J. Hayes.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Teresa Poston; and by two grandchildren, Nicole D Bollingomo and Stephanie Poston; along with many family members and friends.

Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
