Dock Perry Jr.

Dock Perry Jr., age 92, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at Moore Cemetery in Moore, with Rev. Mitch Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.

Dock was born Christmas Day, December 25, 1933, in Oklahoma City, to Dock Marion Perry and Sally (Hale) Perry. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. On March 14, 1958, Dock married Lavaun Sue Shelton, in Oklahoma City. He spent several years working as a service representative for AMF Bowling, and Dock was a longtime member of Asher First Baptist Church.

Dock is survived by his daughter, Lavaunna Perry; and a sister, June Rodgers; along with nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavaun Perry; his parents Dock and Sally Perry; a son, Dock William Perry; three brothers, Harvey Dean, David Lee, and Raymond Perry; four sisters, Berniece Wilson, Ruth Champeau, Faye Morgan, and Aileen Price.
