David Ryan Sellers, 33, of Seminole, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

Ryan was born on December 3, 1992, in Shawnee to David Clifton Sellers and Katherine Sue (McFarlin) Grider. He began his education in the Morris school system before transferring to Mason Public Schools in the seventh grade, where he graduated with the Class of 2012.

Ryan loved hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and making people laugh. He shared many unforgettable adventures traveling with his best friend, Jay Walker. A natural jokester, Ryan especially enjoyed playfully scaring those around him. He had a generous heart and was known as one of the kindest and most loving people anyone could know, always placing the happiness of others before his own.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rick and Debbie McFarlin, Sandy McDaniel, Raymond Sellers and Chuck Hatfield; his great-grandparents, LeeRay McFarlin and Early Edward and Lillian Oliver; and his stepmother, Kimberly Sellers.

Ryan is survived by his parents, David Sellers and Kathy Grider; his brother and sister-in-law, Connor and Cheyenne Pellman of Maud; his sister, Britney Gartrell of Okmulgee; grandmothers, Carolyn Sellers and Linda Hatfield; his nieces and nephew, Addison, Josie, and Clayton; and numerous other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A memorial service is being planned, with the date to be announced. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
