David LeRoy Click

McLoud, OK resident David LeRoy Click passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 in McLoud at the age of 88 surrounded by family. David was born on February 12, 1938 in McAlester, OK to Frank Edward Click Sr. and Elizabeth Ann (Miles) Click. He grew up in southwest Missouri. At the age of 18 he married Peggy Hutson on October 19, 1956 in Oklahoma City, OK. They moved to California where David began his 33 years with the postal service. After their 4th child was born they moved back to Oklahoma. The last 53 years he resided in McLoud, OK. David enjoyed watching sports, traveling and spending time with family.

David is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Tammy Click of Newalla, OK and Kenneth Click of Norman, OK; two daughters and son-in-law, Janis and Brad Bodkin of Maud, OK and Sharon Sims of Seminole, OK; 9 grandchildren, Brandon Sims, Briana Russell, Dustin Bodkin, Kash Bodkin, Bryce Bodkin, Dakota Click, Dalton Click, Stetson Click and Stockton Click and many other family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Elizabeth Click; wife, Peggy Click; sister, Mary Dunfee and brother, Franck Click Jr.

Honorary casket bearers will be his grandsons Brandon Sims, Dustin Bodkin, Bryce Bodkin, Kash Bodkin, Dakota Click and Dalton Click.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Dale Cemetery.
