Connie Lee (Honsinger) Heffley

Connie Lee Heffley, Porum, OK resident, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 in Muskogee, OK at the age of 68.  Connie was born on February 8, 1955, in Shawnee, OK to Ray Fenton Honsinger and Goldy Omi (Saxon) Honsinger. She grew up in Maud and Seminole.  She married the love of her life, Robert Heffley on July 12, 1971 in Shawnee.

Connie enjoyed crochet, garage sales, fishing, camping and traveling.  She loved chasing her grandkids and great grandkids.  Connie had the biggest heart one could find.  She loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids with all of her heart. Connie and Robert had an epic love of 54 years and they left this life within days of each other because they couldn’t stand to be apart.

Connie is survived by sons, Sam Heffley of Japan, Danny Hall (Polly) of Oklahoma City, OK and Keith Crummett of Tecumseh, OK ; daughters, Carla Phillips of Shawnee, OK, Patty Harman (Tony) of Dale, OK, Rebecca Perkinson (Kelly) of Tishomingo, OK, Martha Jensen (Chad) of Henryetta, OK and Rhonda Crummett (Dave Cummings) of Tecumseh, OK; 18 grandchildren, Dessiree, Walter, Mary, Mathew, Thomas, Jessica, Brandon, Melanie, Gage, Breanna, Jordon, Allen, Christine, Destiny, Johntae, Jayshon, Jamarion and Rhiley; 8 great grandchildren, Jax, Rugar, Moxon, Jessie, Kiki, Mia, Baby Nugget and Hunter; and many other family and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and five sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 2019 Lona Ave., Seminole, Oklahoma 74868.
