Chevy Cline, 40 year old Maud, Oklahoma resident passed away March 23, 2026 at his home. He was born on November 15, 1985 in Shawnee, OK to Arthur Ray and Cheryle Mae (Long) Cline. He was a 2003 graduate of Maud High School.

Chevy always had a smile on his face even in the midst of adversity. He had a big heart. He loved Jesus and everyone knew it. There was nothing that Chevy wouldn’t do for someone. He was very athletic. In high school he played for the Maud Tigers in football, baseball and weight lifting. Chevy attended Seminole Junior College for a while. He went to work for Flex-N-Gate from 2005 to 2023 driving a forklift. Chevy became a dad on November 13, 2015 to a son he named Noah Luke Cline. He was so proud! Chevy will be greatly missed.

Chevy is survived by his son, Luke Cline of Seminole, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Shelby Cline of Seminole, OK; sisters; Mechelle Anderson of Yukon, OK and Kim Akins and her husband Shannon of Seminole, OK and many other family and friends.

Chevy was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Cheryle Cline.

Those serving as casket bearers will be John Huff, Justin Lytle, Mike Holder, Mac Mullican, Bradley Brown and Shannon Akins. Johnny Cline will be an honorary casket bearer.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK. Bro. Guy Cagel and Bro. Dean Welch will be officiating. Interment will follow at Williams Family Cemetery in Maud. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
