Carrol Lynn Nix

Seminole resident Carrol Lynn Nix passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at his home.

Lynn, the son of Maude and John Nix Sr., was born December 10, 1961 in Mangum, OK.  Lynn graduated from Ada High School in Ada.  Over the years he worked several different jobs, one of which was Formcrete

in Seminole, where he for a considerable amount of time.  Lynn enjoyed playing golf and was an avid OU football fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Alfred Nix Sr.; his mother, Maurine Nix; and a brother, Gary Nix.

Lynn is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, John and Rebecca Nix, and Mike Nix; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patty and Jerry Bailey, and Angie and Greg Sloan; a many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.  Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
