Carolyn Sue Self, age 75, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025. She was born on July 30, 1950, and lived a full and loving life surrounded by family and friends.
Carolyn was a devoted member of the Church of Christ at Seminole, where her faith guided her daily life. She found joy in the simple pleasures—playing bingo, going bowling, spending peaceful days fishing, enjoying a good movie, and sharing meals with the people she loved. Above all, Carolyn cherished time with her family, who meant the world to her. Her warmth, laughter, and caring spirit touched everyone who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, Clifton Stewart and her sister-in-law, Louise Stewart.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Toney Self; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, with interment to follow at Little Cemetery. The family invites friends and loved ones to join in celebrating Carolyn’s life and legacy. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
