Seminole resident, Carol Ann Branham, 84, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2025, at her home.
Carol, the daughter of Clyde and Henryetta (Isaacs) Bemies, was born July 24, 1940, in Tulsa. Spending her formative years in Tulsa, she graduated from Tulsa’s Will Rogers High School with the class of 1958. In 1972, Carol moved to Seminole. She worked in the cable company’s office as the administrative assistant. Carol was a fan of NASCAR and the OKC Thunder. She was very active in the lives of her grandkids and great grandkids and loved attending their sporting events. Carol also enjoyed horse racing and cooking, horseback riding and boating and fishing. She was a member of the Seminole Chamber of Commerce, Seminole Gusher Days Committee and Beta Sigma Phi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Henryetta Bemies and sister, Nancy Caldwell.
Carol is survived by her son, Jay Branham, of Seminole; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jerald Coym, of Seminole; two grandchildren, Nicole and Josh Little, and John and Ashley Branham; four great grandchildren, Parker Little, Sawyer Little, Memphis Branham, and Tilly Branham; a brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Jan Bemies, of Inola, OK.; and many nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.
A family visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
Services will be Thursday, May 15, at 2:00 P.M. at the Seminole United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, in Seminole.
