Prague resident John Bradley “Brad” Driver, 54, passed away at his home on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Brad was born on January 29, 1972, and was raised in Seminole by his parents, John Charles and Bobette (Burgess) Driver. He attended Pleasant Grove Schools before graduating from Seminole High School with the Class of 1990. During his high school years, Brad enjoyed playing football, a sport that remained a fond part of his memories.
On July 29, 2000, Brad married the love of his life, Ravonda Jones, in Seminole. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and the simple joys of being together. For 26 years, Brad was a devoted husband to Ravonda, and his love for her and their family was at the heart of everything he did.
Throughout his working years, Brad served in corrections as both a jailer and a prison guard before ultimately becoming the security manager at the Seminole Nation Casino. He took pride in his work, but it was the life he built outside of work that brought him the greatest happiness.
Brad loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the peaceful pleasures of country living. He also enjoyed going out for catfish on Fridays, a tradition that brought him simple enjoyment. An avid Oklahoma State fan, Brad proudly declared, “I bleed orange and black!” His loyalty to the Cowboys was just one of the many things that made him uniquely Brad.
A man of deep love and a gentle spirit, Brad cherished his church home and the fellowship it brought into his life. Above all else, he treasured his family and the time he spent with those he loved. Known as one of the kindest, most loving, and gentlest giants a person could ever meet, Brad had a heart that made others feel welcome and cared for. His kindness, gentle nature, and steadfast love for his family were among his greatest gifts, and the memories he leaves behind will forever be held close by those fortunate enough to have known him.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bobette Driver, and his grandmother, Betty Chadwell.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Ravonda Driver, of the home; his daughters, Karrie Jay and Maranda Jimenez, both of Seminole; his grandchildren, Laveah Beavers, Malachi Smith, Amia Jay, Evan Anson, Gabriel Jimenez, and Olivia Jimenez; his great-grandson, Benjamin Martinez; his sister, Miranda Chew; along with many other cherished family members and dear friends.
Though Brad’s earthly journey has come to an end, the love he gave, the kindness he shared, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His family will forever treasure the laughter, love, and countless moments they shared with a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished brother, and loyal friend. Brad will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and his gentle spirit will never be forgotten.
Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
