Bobby Wayne Turner

Seminole, OK resident Bobby Wayne Turner passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Seminole at the age of 66. Bobby was born on May 6, 1959 in Amarillo, TX to Harold Alvin and Helen Louise (Cole) Turner. He grew up in Amarillo, but as a missionary pastors kid he lived in multiple places to include New Mexico and Oklahoma. He moved to Seminole in 1999 and found his home with his dad.

Bobby loved his Peanut ( his French bulldog). He loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He didn’t know a stranger and would talk to everyone. Bobby loved his kids and family near and far. He will be dearly missed.

Bobby is survived by his three sons Wesley Don Turner of Seminole, Eric J. Sanchez of Amarillo, TX and Ty Stoddard of Iowa; two daughters Cindy Sanchez of Amarillo, TX and Tia Stoddard of Illinois; two brothers Harold Dwain Turner of Sunray, TX and Todd Turner of McAlester, OK; two sisters Debbie Rando of Amarillo, TX and Marilyn Stephens and husband Tommy of Seminole; numerous grandchildren; two great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Bobby was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; siblings, Helen Turner, Harold Turner, Darrell Turner, Tony Turner, Alton Turner; nephew Daniel Turner and several aunts and uncles.

Bobby’s family will celebrate his life at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
