Billy Randy Heard

Billy R. “Randy” Heard passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 70 at his home in Wolf, Oklahoma. He was born November 14, 1951, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Billy Heard and Melva (Ligon) Heard. He grew up in the Vamoosa/Wolf areas in Oklahoma. He graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1970. Randy married Shanah Williams in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Randy served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a pipeline supervisor for Enogex in Konawa, Oklahoma until his retirement. He was also a rancher.

Randy is survived by his mother; Melva Heard, his wife; Shanah Heard of the home in Wolf, his daughters; Amy Moore and her husband Bud of Wolf, Oklahoma and Christal Angel Chandler and her husband Greg of Seminole, Oklahoma, his sister; Connie Ashby of Konawa, Oklahoma, his grandchildren; Chisam Moore, Lani Angel and Daegan Angel and his great-grandchildren; Maebrie, Graylee, Brixton, Alyvia and Jo-D Angel. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Heard, his son Chad Angel and his family friend and brother, Eugene Ward.

Funeral services for Randy will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Joe Ligon officiating. Burial will follow at Lone Dove Cemetery in Sasakwa, Oklahoma.

Casket bearers will be Daegan Angel, Greg Chandler, Ethan Warren, Cody Ligon, Curtis Ligon and Dewayne Goodnight. Honorary bearers will be Shaun Ward, Dewayne Sexton, Bud Moore and Chisam Moore.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
