Billie Joe Riggle, age 84 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away September 19, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Wanette Cemetery Chapel in Wanette, Oklahoma under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma. Richard Winters, Charles Key, and Kevin Duck will officiate. Casket bearers are Ian Riggle, Nathan Riggle, Bobby Joe Riggle, Kevin Riggle, Barrett Duck, and Chirs Riggle. Honorary bearer is Eddie Wayne Riggle. The family will great guests Wednesday night at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Billie was born July, 13, 1942 in Wanette, Oklahoma to Harold William Taft Riggle and Lillian (Wallace) Riggle. He graduated in 1961 from Asher High School in Asher, Oklahoma, and he proudly served in the National Guard for almost thirty-one years from August, 1962 until July, 2002. He married Nancy Estell Barrett on September 1, 2008 in Konawa. Billie worshiped at the Church of Christ in Konawa, and he was a member of the OCPAC. He was an Electrical Inspector for Lucent Technology. Billie loved cattle ranching, owning and driving race cars, and he was active in state and national politics.

He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, David Riggle of Weatherford, Texas, and Billy Joe Riggle and wife, Sharon of Edmond, Oklahoma; one daughter, Diana Roberts of Weatherford, Oklahoma; three brothers, Scotty Riggle of Asher, Calvin Riggle of Oklahoma City, and Charles Riggle of Konawa; eleven grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Eddie and Bob Riggle; one sister, Cora Faye Riggle; and one daughter, Donna Riggle.
