Betty Louise Morrison

Betty Louise (Ladd) Morrison, age 84 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away from this life August 2, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Grace Community Church of Konawa under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Pastor Drew Isaacs will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Betty was born April 4, 1940 in Seminole, Oklahoma to John Allen Ladd and Elsie Marie (Simmons) Ladd. She graduated from Bowlegs High School, and she worked as a Circuit Board Assembler for the Pelton Company of Ponca City, Oklahoma. She married Bobby Jack Morrison February 20, 1960 at the Assembly of God Church in Seminole. Betty was a member of Grace Community Church of Konawa, and she loved to watch TV game shows, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, Joe Morrison and wife, Jennifer of Ponca City, Oklahoma; one daughter, Donna Glasscock and boyfriend, Rodney Neal of Konawa; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Elsie Ladd; her husband, Bobby Morrison on February 16, 2018; one brother, Jack Ladd; and one sister, Joyce Mainord.
