Betty Jean Bonetti

February 10, 1939 — May 19, 2026

Seminole

Betty Jean Bonetti, 87, and longtime Seminole resident, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at her home.

Betty was born February 10, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Arthur and Mildred (Fullbright) Rogers. As a child, she moved with her family to northern California. On September 16, 1958, she married James Bartley in Sacramento, California. Later, on February 18, 1989, she married Robert Bonetti in West Sacramento, California.

Later in life, Betty returned to Oklahoma, though she frequently traveled back to California to visit family and friends. She was gifted in arts and crafts and especially enjoyed sewing, needlework, and quilting. Betty kept a beautiful home, loved helping keep her grandchildren well dressed – whether by taking them shopping for the perfect outfit or sewing mathcing dresses for the girls – and was known as an excellent cook.

Betty was always ready for a road trip. When traveling to California, she often had the family up in the middle of the night to begin the journey. Even later in life, she continued making trips to California on her own, and when traveling with family, she always insisted on taking her turn driving.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Mildred Rogers; her husband, Robert Bonetti; one brother; and one sister.

Betty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Ipun Bartley of Tuscon, Arizona; daughters, Carol Adams of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Vicki Bartley of Sacramento, California; grandchildren, James Bartley, Ashley Tumasava and husband Hayk Tumasava, Brittany Simmons, Chanteal Hanson and husband Robert Hanson, and Derrick Adams; great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Isaiah, Isaac, Logan, Dawna, Jacob, Draven, Maribelle, and Malakai; sister, Donna Amegin of Sacramento, California; along with many other family members and friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Nita Moreland officiating.
