Alonzo Williams-Newton

Alonzo Williams-Newton, Jr., 60, lifelong Seminole resident passed away , Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at his home. Alonzo was born July 14, 1957 in Seminole, Oklahoma to his parents Wilhelmina ( Williams) Newton and Alonzo Newton, Sr.. Alonzo graduated from Seminole High School and attended Seminole State College. He worked for Commercial Brick for several years and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends talking about the rodeo. Alonzo is survived by his brother  Troy Newton of Seminole, Oklahoma, a nephew Anthony Louie and his wife Lureena Louie of Seminole, Oklahoma and a host of other family and friends. Alonzo was preceded in death by his mother, Wilhelmina Williams-Newton, his father Alonzo Newton, Sr., his sister; Melodie (Newton) McGregor. The family will have a private memorial service for Alonzo. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
