Alice “Sue” Faye Wallace, Seminole resident, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at her home at the age of 82. Sue was born on December 9, 1942 in West Frankfort, Illinois to Haskell Charles and Mesabelle Delphine (Houck) Harrod. She was a 1961 graduate of Seminole High School and attended East Central University in Ada. Sue married Alan Neil Wallace on April 19, 1963 in Seminole, OK and they enjoyed 62 years together. Sue retired from Tinker Air Force Base from her career as an Electrical Technician.
Sue enjoyed sewing, quilting, tatting, machine embroidery and her pets. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Country Dolls Saddle Club and was the 1959-1960 Seminole Round-Up Club Queen.
Sue is survived by her husband Alan “Neil” Wallace of the home; son Leslie Neil Wallace of Los Lunas, NM; daughter Charlotte LuWane McCracken of Tecumseh, OK; five grandchildren Ethan McCracken, Alene and spouse Kyle Rowe, Devin and spouse Rayven McCracken, Dakota Wallace and Cheyenne Wallace; one great grandchild Kinsley Wallace; sister Jean Gholston of Arlington, TX and many other family and friends.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents and brother James Harrod.
Those serving as casket bearers will be Devin McCracken, Alena Rowe, Kyle Rowe, Dakota Wallace, Cheyenne Wallace and John Branham.
Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2025 and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK. Chris Lee will be officiating. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens East of Seminole on Hwy 270.
