Agnes Louise (Tyler) Williams, 85, longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on December 2, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Agnes was born on April 23, 1940 in Hanford, California to John Wesley “Wes” Tyler and Dorfie Gertrude (Smith) Tyler.

Agnes married Herbert Duaine “Herb” Williams on October 10, 1958 at Bethel Church in Wewoka, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on February 15, 2018.

Agnes was a registered nurse at various area hospitals and clinics in Seminole and Hughes Counties. She worked at Butner Public Schools while attending Seminole Junior College and was also the bookkeeper and co-owner for Williams Backhoe Service in Seminole. She was an avid painter who worked beautifully on both canvas and glass. Her favorite subjects were her family and floral designs. A devoted nurse, she took special pride in caring for her own family, whom she cherished deeply.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents John and Dorfie Tyler, her husband; Herb Williams, one son Dewayne Williams, daughter; Lori Williams, her brothers; Wesley C. Tyler, Bob Tyler, Carroll Tyler, Johnny Tyler and Bert Tyler, one sister Emozett Phillips and son-in-law Randall Robinson.

Agnes is survived by her daughter Latricia Robinson of Seminole, Oklahoma, her grandson Matt Williams, also of Seminole, her brother and sister-in-law Roy and Zella Tyler of Stratford, Oklahoma, sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Dan Goins of Idaho and sister Virginia Story of Arkansas.

Agnes requested a graveside service which will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Oakwood Cemetery, South of Wewoka, Oklahoma, with Michael Tom officiating.

Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma is in charge of all arrangements.
