Addison Nicole Harvey, affectionately known as “Addi,” age 18, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on November 25, 2007, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Vanessa Harvey, Addi was a beautiful light in this world whose life, though far too short, brought immeasurable love, laughter, and joy to all who knew her.
Addi had a special way of making life brighter simply by being herself. She loved deeply, laughed often, and found happiness in the people she loved and the little moments that made life special. She had a lively spirit, a playful personality, and a heart that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Though her time on earth was much too brief, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of those who love her. Above all, Addi loved Jesus, and her faith is a beautiful part of the legacy she leaves behind. We find comfort in knowing that her earthly journey was not the end of her story. Though our hearts ache at the thought of life without her, we hold tightly to the promise of eternal life and the hope of one day seeing her again in Heaven. Addi knew how to enjoy life. She loved shopping and spending money as though it grew on trees, spending time with her friends and family, getting into mischief with her best friend and cousin Maddi. Those two together harassed Keegon and made him go along with their shenanigans. They even recruited Peyton into their mischief. Or maybe it was the other way around and Peyton recruited them. Honestly probably a bit of both. She loved cuddling up with her mom to watch Twilight on bad days and always tried to talk her mom into watching scary movies, which never happened because Addi was so much braver than her mom. She loved the beach, traveling with the love of her life, Larry, and sharing life with her beloved, food-stealing dog, Peewee. She treasured the simple comforts that made her happy, especially her Granny’s fried potatoes, and she never passed up an opportunity to make a silly TikTok video. Addi had a gift for turning ordinary days into cherished memories, and her laughter and unmistakable personality made even the simplest moments unforgettable.
A 2026 graduate of Seminole High School, Addi served as manager of the Seminole High School volleyball team. And while she may have occasionally decided that school attendance was optional, she certainly knew how to make life interesting! She enjoyed attending Seminole High School football games with her friends, spending time with Larry, and heading to the river to ride side-by-sides and make memories along the way. One of Addi’s favorite pastimes, however, was giving her brother, Aiden, a hard time. Their sibling bond was filled with the kind of teasing, laughter, and familiar mischief that only a brother and sister can truly understand. Addi knew exactly how to push his buttons, get under his skin, and keep him on his toes. Those moments, which may once have seemed like ordinary parts of growing up together, will forever be treasured reminders of the special bond they shared.
To her mom, she was a precious daughter and a source of unconditional love. To her brother, she was a sister, a partner in mischief, and an irreplaceable part of his world. To Larry, she was the love of his life and a companion with whom she shared special adventures and dreams. To her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, she was a beloved presence whose smile, laughter, and spirit made life a little brighter. More than anything, Addi will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her loving heart, her playful spirit, and the happiness she found in being surrounded by the people she loved. She was a bright light in the lives of so many, and the world is a little dimmer without her here. Yet the love she shared will never disappear. It will live on in family stories, in photographs, in familiar songs, in beach memories, in laughter that catches someone by surprise, and in all the little things that will forever remind those who loved her of their sweet Addi. Eighteen years was not nearly enough time, but it was enough time for Addison to leave a lifetime of love in the hearts of those she touched. Her life will forever be celebrated, her memory forever cherished, and her place in the hearts of her family and friends forever secure. Though we must say goodbye for now, we take comfort in our faith that Addi is safe in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by the peace and love of Heaven. Until we meet again, our sweet girl, you will be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
