Wanda was born Wanda Lene Bray May 17, 1928 in Webber, Oklahoma to Jessie Randolph Bray and Ettie Lee Bray of Seminole.  She was one of 12 children and is preceded in death by 9 of her siblings. She graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1946. One of her favorite subjects was penmanship. She was always known for her beautiful handwriting and sweet written notes.

On Christmas Eve in 1946, she married Vernon V Lively at his mother’s home on north Jefferson Street in Seminole surrounded by family and friends. Soon afterwards they headed to Lampus, California for work and adventure. They returned to Seminole upon the arrival of their first child Eddie DeWayne in 1948.

Vernon and Wanda thrived in Seminole from 1948 to 1960 as owners of Lively’s Laundry and employment with Dowell Oil Company. Having 11 siblings of her own and the addition of 6 brother and sisters in-law, Wandalene became “Aunt Wanda” to a great many. She is revered to this day by many nieces and nephews that she took great pride in.

She enjoyed camping, boating, playing cards, riding her “cycle”, entertaining her family and bowling. Wanda was a competitive bowler for many years and took home more trophies than she knew what to do with. In her later years, she and Vernon owned a cabin on Grand Lake where they made many memories and spent a considerable amount of time.

After the death of her husband Vernon in 1992, she married her best friend Leroy Street of Enid, Oklahoma.
