Charles W. Canada, 82, Anadarko, Oklahoma resident died Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Lawton, Oklahoma. Mr. Canada was born October 28, 1927 in Bernice, Oklahoma to Ebben A. and Millie Frances (Taylor) Canada.

Mr. Canada was a retired school custodian for the Shawnee Mission Public School System in Shawnee, Kansas. He was currently a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Anadarko, Oklahoma and a lifetime member of the American Legion Post #139 in Fairland, Oklahoma. John had moved back to Oklahoma in 1983 from Kansas City, Kansas. John served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Canada was survived by his Wife, Lona Canada of Binger, Oklahoma, one son John E. Canada of Shawnee, Kansas, daughter Mabel A. Canada of Shawnee, Kansas and a son George Richard Bays of Ontario, California.

Graveside services are planned for Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Afton, Oklahoma.
